I THINK WE CAN AFFORD TO ADMIT “that the Lord God
Omnipotent reigneth,” both in heaven and earth, among his
people, and also in the midst of the inhabitants of earth. The
course of rulers of this world, the rise and fall of kingdoms and
empires are within the scope of his decrees, efficaciously, or permissively,
and in all things directively. So “all things work
together for good to them that love God.” |
