THE RIGHTEOUS ARE OFTEN CAST DOWN, and that
too by the “mighty hand of God,” but it is all for their good,
and he will exalt them in due time, just at the right time, so
that though they are “cast down, they are not destroyed;”
(2 Cor. iv.9) the Lord will still hear them in the day of trouble,
for he is “good, a strong hold in the day of trouble, and
knoweth them that trust in him.” Nahum i. 7. |
