HE MAY SUFFER US to get into doubts and fears, and wars,
pestilence, and temptation may seem to surround us so that at
times we feel as though we were sinking in despair, but at
other times, hope springs up and seems to say, “O, ye of little
faith!” Then it is I think these trials are for our good, and to
teach us most forcibly that our whole dependence is in God,
and him alone. |
