in The Primitive Baptist vol.25 no.1 (Jan. 1861)
AND THE SCRIPTURE tells us, “all things work together for
good to them that love God, to them who are the called according
to his purpose,” and I am one that believes that if I am a
child of God, all things work together for my good all through
the whole course of my life; although I am like other human
beings,—sometimes I would like for things to work different
with me from what they do,—and why am I in this situation? I
think it is because the old man thinks he knows best. |
